Our humble invitation is real. The daring spirit of Christ awakes and inspires us to be his church even in a challenging time. Each seeking soul shapes who we are and what we do as a body of Christ and as a breath of the Spirit. You are not part of a church statistic or a process within a religious organization. Instead, you are a part of the truest manifestation of Christ’s love by which we all may have a deeper understanding as to what it means to love, serve, and grow together.

On behalf of the family of Wilmington First United Methodist Church, I welcome you to our “Compassionate Stories and Transforming Ministry,” the Stories that grow with the love of Christ and Ministry that serves for birthing of the new and transformed life through the Spirit. We are here, daring to represent what Christ’s ministry could be. And Wilmington FUMC welcomes you wholeheartedly. Come and be part of the worship, fellowship, learning and sharing, and hope and vision for the community of faith and beyond.
